Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is back!!!!!
His twitter feed was dormant for most of the season as he battled through a high ankle sprain and then a hamstring injury.
Once he recovered, he finished out the season strong and ended up with 63 catches for 711 yards and three touchdowns.
During interviews during the season, we heard from “Sad Roddy.” He was clearly depressed that he was healthy.
As well all know, “Happy Roddy” is a hoot and a quote a minute.
It’s pretty clear that “Happy Roddy” is back.
He weighed in on Louisville’s hiring of Bobby Petrino and said he’d send his son to play for Petrino.
To understand that tweet you have to know that Roddy struggled early in his career and finally got going in his third season under the direction of Petrino and his brother Paul Petrino, who was the wide receivers coach in 2007.
To contrast that, former tight end Alge Crumpler said on the Locker Room show on 790 The Zone that he would not send his son to play for Petrino.
Roddy also dealt with some other subjects:
–He believes Mike Tice would help the line and get the Falcons back to a 13-win team.
–He believes the Falcons are fine on offense if everyone gets healthy.
–Getting Jadeveon Clowney would be helpful because he could make the Oline better by going against them in practice.
Welcome back “Happy Roddy!”
