The Falcons have been shrewd in free agency and likely can’t and won’t fulfill that request.
Hester is represented by Eugene Parker, who also has Falcons defensive end Tyson Jackson and running back Steven Jackson. So, they’ve worked out deals in the past, and may still be able to salvage this one.
The Falcons are closing in on the $100-million spending mark this offseason. They’ve added contracts worth $98.360 million.
