Come on people..........the Falcons are making a HUGE mistake if they do not draft Robinson OT or Matthews OT at #6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another OL in free agency would set us up for a perfect draft. Draft Mack or Barr, trade back, stock pile defensive talent at DT,SS,DE. All defense. Why not?

D-Orlando.....I thought we scored an extra 6th rounder from St. Louis this year for giving up picks #30 & 90 last year to move up to #23? Did the Falcons get that 6th rounder last year?

There are three starting line backer spots and two starting safety spots. We only have 2 starting line backers and one starting safety and need to get two starters at the top of the draft in these two spots. We have staters in the remaining 20 positions on offense and defense. So, we need to get an OLB and a Safety or we will be playing backups at two key starting positions. So here is what we need;

1 best OLB available

2 best Safety available

3 backup QB best available

4 best OLineman left

4 best OLB left

5 - 7 best player left

in the 3rd round if he is still available...

@slydawg I get your point, and don't disagree if you mean doing a "Julio"; but it may be they could end up with two 1st-round picks by trading DOWN in the 1st round.  We have so many position needs...we might be better off giving up our #6 for something like that, don't you think?

@devounknown1000  This guy fails to sink his hips and explode towards the football making it tough for him to run routes that require him to turn a face the quarterback i.e. hooks, curls, and comeback routes. Otherwise the talent is there just not that explosive!

So what do we do about our need of a Safety???

@Dman

You think you have "two starting" NFL linebackers? Well there goes part of your problem! You continue to overestimate your roster talent!

@Dman

If Christian Ponder and E.J. Manuel are worth 1st round grades on some teams draft boards, Manziel is going to be gone way before the 3rd round!

And your point is what? Worrilow is not about "can't be stop(ped)!" It is all about tendencies, I don't care if don't you like me, but all players and scouts worth a dime are studying tendencies (on video). Including your suppose "Elite" QB who has built his rep as a "film study"junkie! So again, what's your beef?

For clarification sake, I guess Pro Football Focus has some agenda against Worrilow too?

"The Delaware alum became an every-down player as WLB Sean Weatherspoon and SLB Kroy Biermann were lost to injury, but Worrilow graded out poorly in both pass coverage and run defense per Pro Football Focus' game charts. Whether Worrilow is Atlanta's middle linebacker of the future remains to be seen. His long-term IDP value is shaky. Jan 10 - 4:28 PM"

@JSSN @DawgGoneIt  Teams can get tape on anyone! There are only a few players in the league that can't be stop!

JSSN

@DawgGoneIt

Weatherspoon is playing for a contract if that is not obvious by now. I think Paul Worrilow (and by default Bartu)  are good rotational linebackers. But like Ralph Ortega (remember him?), the League will have tape on him now and how they attack him. Don't be too quick to anoint him. He has the opportunity, hopefully he'll make the most of it. You need more Linebackers (quality), no more Robert James and Coy Wires. But then, you still think Weatherspoon has "speed second-to-none."

@JSSN @Dman  Weatherspoon and Worrilow are two guys who I have a lot of faith in and apparently so does our coaching staff. Worrilow had over 100+ tackles and he didn't even start the entire year until like week 7. Bartu needs to bulk up a little more but I like his speed and quickness.
