Falcons’ minicamp partially open to the public

FLOWERY BRANCH – The Falcons will partially open their mandatory minicamp to the public next week, Tuesday through Thursday.

The team is scheduled to hold five practices, but will have three open to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

The Falcons other two practice sessions will be closed to the public.

All times are subject to change. For additional information regarding changes in practice times or weather delays, please call 770-965-2752 or visit the Falcons official website.

PHASE THREE OF OFFSEASON PROGRAM

–Today, June 11 – OTA No. 8.

–Thursday, June 12 – OTA No. 9.

–Friday, June 13 – OTA No. 10.

–Monday, June 16 – Physicals.

–Tuesday, June 17 — Day One: Mandatory minicamp (5 practices over three days)

–Wednesday, June 18 – Day Two: Mandatory minicamp.

–Thursday, June 19 – Day Three: Mandatory minicamp. (Offseason program ends for veterans).

TBA – Rookie Symposium

TBA – (Late July) – Report to Training camp.

I attempted to read with dismay, Matt Ryan's "plan" for the Falcons, but was stupefied to learn that it was considered a "premium" story and you have to pay to read it. Are they telling me they want cash $$$ for our 116 mil QB to tell us how he intends to bring our team to 8-8?  I'm not sure that's a wise investment.

With the weather pattern of late, these practices open to the public will likely get rained out with the typical afternoon storms. Suppose this was done on purpose?
