FLOWERY BRANCH — Here’s everything you need to know about the Falcons (5-1), who play the Tennessee Titans (1-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, this wonderful Friday morning.

  1. Practice. The Falcons will practice at 11:30 a.m. Coach Dan Quinn will address the media after practice followed by an open locker room session.
  2. Freestyle Friday. Haven’t seen a recent rap video. I’ll have to check in with Willie Mo to see what’s going on and get a review of the latest episode of Empire.
  3. Return game. Special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong said there is nothing wrong with the return Armstrong2015game that a reduction of penalties wouldn’t fix. He pointed out that returner Eric Weems has an 11-yard punt return wiped out in the second quarter against New Orleans by a Robert Alford holding penalty. He cited a few others.
  4. Jalen Collins update: Falcons second-round pick Jalen Collins is starring on special teams as a gunner, while he continues to work on his cornerback skills.
  5. Mettenberger appears to be the QB. Tennessee rookie Marcus Mariota didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday, the two big practice days in the NFL week. The Falcons have to believe that they’ll face former Georgia and LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger on Sunday.

Don’t forget to stop by the Falcons Fan Mailbag from 11 a.m to 12 noon on Thursdays.
