5 things every Falcons fan needs to know Wednesday



FLOWERY BRANCH — Here’s everything you need to know about the Falcons (6-2), who play at San Francisco (2-6) at 4 p.m. Sunday at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Wednesday.

  1. Practice schedule: The Falcons will have a walk-through in the morning followed by 1:05 p.m. practice. Coach Dan Quinn will address the media before an open locker room media session. Quarterback Matt Ryan is scheduled to speak.
  2. Injury report: Quinn usually gives a partial injury report before practice and the team’s official injury report is released after practice. Cornerback Desmond Trufant (lower back), cornerback Robert Alford (groin), safety William Moore (groin), wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) and wide receiver Nick Williams (hamstring), center Mike Person (ankle), defensive tackle Tyson Jackson (ribs) and defensive tackle Paul Soliai (left hand) have the known injuries.
  3. Ryan vs. 49ers: In  four career starts vs. San Francisco (including the playoffs), Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has 1,346 pass yards (336.5 per game) and a 95.2 passer rating. In two games at San Francisco, he has 677 yards (338.5 per game) and 99.8 rating.
  4. Trade deadline quietly passes: As expected, the Falcons did not make any moves as the league’s trade deadline passed at  4 p.m. on Tuesday.
  5. TV announcers: Your Fox Sports team for this one will be: Play-by-Play: Chris Myers. Color Analyst: Ronde Barber. Sideline: Jennifer Hale.
