FLOWERY BRANCH — Here are the five things we learned on Tuesday  about the Falcons (6-3), who host the Indianapolis Colts (4-5) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.
  1. QUINN AND HASSELBECK: Falcons coach Dan Quinn was the assistant head coach/defensive line in 2009 and 2010 for Seattle when Matt Hasselbeck was wrapping up his 10-year stint with the team. Hasselbeck is set to start for the Colts on Sunday with Andrew Luck out with a lacerated kidney.
  2. RYAN SAID THE NO-HUDDLE IS READY TO ROLL: Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan said the team has the no-huddle ready to roll if called upon by offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
  3. HALTIME SHOW:  The Summerall Guards, a silent precision drill platoon from The Citadel will perform on Sunday. Consisting of 61 members, the Summerall Guards are first-class (senior) cadets who go through a rigorous physical training and initiation process and are chosen for their physical stamina and drill proficiency.
  4. WEAR YOUR PLAID: Brawny will sponsor a Guinness Book of World Record attempt for the most people in plaid in a photo on the field following the game at the Georgia Dome.
  5. CONGRATS TO T.J. YATES: Former Falcons quarterback T.J. Yates, who was cut before the season started after being beaten out by Sean Renfree, helped guide the Houston Texans to a victory over the previously undefeated Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Yates is from Marietta and played at Pope High.
