5 things to know about the Falcons on Monday

Here are five things to know about the Atlanta Falcons on Monday.

1. Practice today. The Falcons will practice at 1o a.m. today. Please note that Wednesday’s practice is a walk-through and will be closed to the public.

2. Julio Jones is up today. Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones is set to speak to the media after practice today.

3. Official Depth Chart for Exhibition opener. The Falcons are set to open the exhibition season against Washington at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Georgia Dome. Washington won the NFC East last season, but the Falcons were 4-0 against the division with victories over Washington, Dallas, Philadelphia and the New York Giants. The Falcons released their first depth chart (See Below)

4. Freeney’s debut. Defensive end Dwight Freeney made his practice debut with the Falcons on Sunday.

5. Ryan’s middle passage. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been the focal point of the offense’s attempt to improve in 2015. An overlooked are has been his middle over the middle of the field.
