FLOWERY BRANCH — The Atlanta Falcons (6-3) are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles (4-4 after a 3-0 start) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The New York Giants defeated the Eagles 28-23 on Sunday. The Eagles went 3 of 15 on third downs, 1 of 4 on fourth downs.

Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Monday:

1. Practice. The Falcons will practice at 12:15 p.m. today. Head coach Dan Quinn and players will be available after practice.

2. Trufant update. The Falcons know more about Desmond Trufant’s injury, but Quinn apparently doesn’t want to give an injury update before he’s required to do so with Wednesday’s official, league-mandated, injury report.

3. Julio’s Miracle catch. The internet is still buzzing from Julio Jones’ touchdown catch against the Buccaneers. CLICK HERE for the link.

4. Packer fined $36,000 for hit Matt Ryan.  Green Bay linebacker Datone Jones was fined $36,464 by the NFL on Friday for his roughing-the-passer penalty against Atlanta last week. Jones is a repeat offender, resulting in the large amount doled out by the league. Last Sunday, Jones hit Ryan in the first half of Atlanta’s 33-32 victory.

5. Mid-term report card is strong. Here are the Falcons’ mid-season grades. One reader felt that the special teams’ grade was too kind considering their issues with penalties and some of the fair-catch and non-fair catch decisions.
