FLOWERY BRANCH — Speedy former Falcons wide receiver Aldrick Robinson signed a two-year contract with San Francisco 49ers, according to NFL Media.
Robinson reunites with former Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who recently was named the 49ers’ head coach.
Robinson was the Falcons’ fourth wide receiver last season. He caught 20 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns to help the Falcons reach the Super Bowl.
Robinson, 28, was drafted in the sixth round out of SMU by Washington when Shanahan was the team’s offensive coordinator in 2011. When Shanahan became Atlanta’s offensive coordinator in 2015, the Falcons signed Robinson as a free agent.
Former Falcons returner Eric Weems has agreed to a deal with the Tennessee Titans, according to the Tennessean.
