FLOWERY BRANCH — The Falcons can carry the entire roster through the four exhibition games this season because of a rule change, but some players have helped their chances of making the final 53-man roster through two games.
Here’s are five players who’s arrow is pointing upward for the Falcons:
–Reggie Davis, wide receiver. “I thought Reggie Davis had a big play down the field,”
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Monday.
–Quincy Mauger, safety. “Although he had a couple of missed assignments, he had really good intent for the ball,” Quinn said. He also had a spectacular interception.
–Kemal Ishmael, linebacker. “He really had a deliberate mindset for the football,” Quinn said. “He was somebody who had real intent about him all the way through.”
–Josh Keys, linebacker. Played well on special teams.
–Sean Harlow, guard. “I thought Sean Harlow…improved his game from an intense and physicality (standpoint).”
