Georgia record-setting quarterback Aaron Murray, who didn’t wear shoulder pads nor a helmet, move fluidly through his Pro Day work out just five months after knee surgery on Wednesday.
He completed 47 of 54 passes. He had three drops, two catches out of bounds, a wide receiver slipped on another play and he had one inaccurate attempt on a windy day. Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel came dressed to play for his Pro Day.
Murray just laughed when asked where was his helmet and shoulder pads.

Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is set to leave for Phoenix today to start the final month of his preparations before Georgia’s Pro Day on April 16.
“He will work with quarterback coach Terry Shea,” said Pat Dye, Jr., Murray’s Atlanta-based agent. “We think the first week he’s there he’s going to be working with RGIII (Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III).”
Murray tore his ACL against Kentucky on Senior Night and had surgery the following Tuesday.

Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is set to get grilled about his football knowledge by ESPN’s Jon Gruden on his popular “Gruden’s QB Camp” show.
Murray and eight other of the top quarterback prospects in the 2014 NFL draft are scheduled to participate including 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M, two-time BCS National Champion A.J. McCarron of Alabama, and Louisville standout Teddy Bridgewater.

Former SEC quarterbacks Aaron Murray (Georgia), Zach Mettenberger (LSU) and Connor Shaw (South Carolina) head up a list of 24 players with Georgia ties invited to the NFL scouting combine, which will run Feb. 19 through 25 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Last season, there were 29 players with Georgia ties invited.
In 2012, there were 26 players invited.
In 2011, a total of 31 players, including No. 1 overall pick Cam Newton, were invited.

MOBILE, Ala. — Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament against Kentucky on Nov. 23, is attending the Senior Bowl.
He plans to be ready to workout at Georgia’s Pro on April 16. He’s been rehabbing in Pensacola, Fla. under famed doctor James Andrews.
