Former Falcons and Georgia Tech wide receiver Kevin Cone is set to sign with the Miami Dolphins, according to his agent Mark Clouser.
The former Georgia Tech player who walked onto the team after transferring from NAIA Shorter College was one of two exclusive rights free agents and he did not received a tender offer from the team, according to NFLPA documents.
He has worked out for Carolina and was set to work out for the New York Giants on Friday.

Georgia Tech standout Jeremiah Attachou went through the linebacker and defensive linemen drills at the school’s Pro Day on Friday.
He suffered a torn right hamstring in the third quarter of the Senior Bowl and was not able to perform for NFL teams at the NFL scouting combine.
“I think I did great,” Attaochu said. “I think I surprised myself a little bit. I had an injury. I rehabbed the injury and I was still able to run (the 40-yard dash) pretty good. I was in the 4.5s everywhere.”

Wide receiver Kevin Cone, who was not extended an exclusive-rights tender by the Falcons, is set to workout for the Carolina Panthers on Friday, according to his agent Mark Clouser.
Also, Jacksonville is interested in Cone.

INDIANAPOLIS – Former Georgia Tech Jeremiah (Jerry) Attaochu suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter of the Senior Bowl and will not work out at the combine. He’s hoping to work out for scouts at Georgia Tech’s Pro Day on March 28.
“It’s definitely tough not being a part of it,” Attaochu said. “I went to the Senior Bowl to compete and unfortunately I injured my hamstring and I also injured my hand. I will be working out at may Pro Day on March 28th. I should be ready by then.”

MOBILE, Ala. – Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Ted Roof made his way to the Senior Bowl.
After the South’s practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Tuesday, he was talking to former Tech standouts Jeremiah Attaochu and Jemea Thomas on the field.
Thomas was a late addition to the Senior Bowl South roster.
“There was a high level of talent down there at the East-West Shrine game,” Thomas said. “The talent here is much better.”
Thomas played in 54 games at Georgia Tech, tying a school record.
